The UGA Women’s Club Lacrosse team is happy to announce their summer clinic at Brookwood High School Saturday June 19th from 9am-12pm.

Any middle school or high school player may participate. This clinic will involve basic instruction for beginners and more advanced skills such as 7 v 7, stick tricks, offense/defensive strategies, agility and shooting taught by members of the UGA Women’s Lacrosse Team. The clinic will conclude with a scrimmage and the ever favorite stick game!

Participants pay $40 for the clinic instruction (checks made out to UGA Women’s Club Lacrosse Team)

Waivers are required for participation and will be available the day of the clinic

UGA LAX merchandise will be available for purchase at the clinic

Georgia secured a bid to the 2010 WDIA National Tournament by besting Florida 14-13 in sudden death overtime Sunday. This marks the fourth consecutive National Tournament appearance for the Dawgs and sixth overall.

Congratulations to our 2010 All-SWLL honorees: Laura Bean, Taylor Lugash, Mary Cate McCue, Michele Manis (Defensive Player of the Year) and Danielle Wertz.

Senior Captain, Natalie Galvin, was honored as the SWLL tournament MVP.

Feb. 6 GAME LOCATION CHANGE: The season opening games against Tennessee (11:00 a.m.) and Clemson (1:00 p.m.) have been moved to Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Georgia Lacrosse is pleased to announce we will be hosting our first instructional clinic of the season on November 15 at Bay Creek Park in Loganville, Ga.

The clinic will take place following a scrimmage between Georgia Women's Lacrosse and X-Team.

All levels of experience are welcome to attend.

Georgia Lacrosse is pleased to announce it will be hosting the inaugural 7v7 High School Tournament at Bay Creek Park in Loganville, Ga on Sunday, November 8.

The tournament is meant for girls' teams, either Varsity or JV. A maximum of 12 teams will be taken and it is first come, first serve. Hurry to reserve your spot now!

All participating teams will receive a Georgia Lacrosse pinnie for each of its players. The winning team will also receive a prize package.

The cost of the tournament is $500 per team. Each team must have a minimum of 10 players, including a goalie.
